Recently, we funded a deal with our favorite lender – that lender had declined the very same deal two months earlier (a KMC competitor who was “working on it”, still hadn’t resolved the matter, and was avoiding calls – KMC was contacted).The credit issue was a pending law suit which the customer said had been resolved – long story short, we made about 17 calls, got a letter confirming resolution, and got the deal funded – within a week.
